Micro-Grants

Literacy Alberni and Raise-a-Reader are hosting a "Celebrate Our Success" meeting for the successful Micro-Grant recipients. The celebration/meeting will be on Wednesday, May 13 at North Island College (Room S-108). Dave Timmins from Smitty’s Restaurant is providing the hors d’oeuvres and drinks ‘n stuff… The intent of the meeting is to network a bit and to serve as an opportunity for everyone to see what other literacy groups are doing (by way of micro-grant projects). It should be a bit of fun, and it will be a great opportunity for LAS Board Members and Raise-a-Reader Committee Members to see what our good fundraising supports…
